Our Promise

Warranty & Your Rights

Every bed, mattress, and frame we sell is covered by your statutory consumer rights and by the manufacturer’s own guarantee. Here is a clear explanation of what that means for you.

Your Statutory Rights

Every product we sell is automatically covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. These rights exist by law and are not affected by any manufacturer’s guarantee. In short:

Goods must be of satisfactory quality

Goods must be fit for their intended purpose

Goods must match their description

You can reject faulty goods within 30 days for a full refund

After 30 days, you're entitled to a repair or replacement

These rights apply whether or not a manufacturer's guarantee applies

Manufacturer’s Guarantee

Frames & Bases

Bed frames and bases come with a manufacturer’s guarantee against structural defects, on top of your statutory rights.

Mattresses

Mattresses come with a manufacturer’s guarantee against manufacturing defects such as faulty springs or premature sagging.

Divans & Upholstery

Divan bases and upholstered pieces come with a manufacturer’s guarantee against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

Guarantee periods vary by manufacturer and product range. Your product paperwork or box label will confirm the exact cover — if you can’t find it, just ask us and we’ll look it up for you.

How to Make a Claim

1

Gather Your Proof of Purchase

Keep clear photographs of the issue, along with your order number, receipt, or invoice, and the date of purchase. This helps our team assess your claim quickly.

2

Contact the Showroom

Call us on 01803 525422 or email sales@halfpricebedz.co.uk with your proof of purchase and a description of the issue.

3

Resolution

We will confirm your options based on your statutory rights and, where applicable, the manufacturer’s guarantee terms for your product — such as a repair, replacement, or refund.

What a Guarantee Typically Doesn’t Cover

Manufacturer’s guarantees generally exclude the following. The exact terms depend on the manufacturer, so always check the paperwork that came with your product or ask us to confirm:

Normal wear and tear

Damage from misuse, accidents, or improper assembly

Stains, burns, cuts, or pet damage

Natural variations in wood grain, leather, or fabric colour

Products used in a commercial setting
